Carbon wheels are slowly becoming de rigeur for elite endurance mountain biking. The internet, trails and cafes are awash with carbon bike parts.

Carbon fibre can be used to make stiffer, lighter, stronger and even more comfortable.

Carbon rims are more rigid than traditional rims, meaning there is less flexibility when you hit bumps. Over time they retain their shape better and need less adjustment to the spokes. Even though carbon MTB rims are very rigid, they are much lighter than standards rims. This rigidity allows a mountain bike rider to corner better, which is why competitive riders prefer them.

Carbon MTB rims also absorb more shocks than standard aluminium rims. By the time the vibrations reach the shocks, there is far less work for them to do.

There are several hub options including Boost, non-Boost and either 6-bolt or centrelock brake mounting.

1. A full 12 months from purchase date warranty is offered to the original purchaser only on all bike wheels against material or workmanship defects.

2. All wheels models have to pass our fatigue tests for rider weight limits, 120kgs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels.
